Wide format inkjet printing on some 1.2 x 2.4m plywood panels 🌲🖨 for a VCA production for @chantalmakes . Made for a fun little project, and fun little time-lapse! A++ Chantal! Thanks for pics of them in action @raphaelrechtprodoctions. 👌💖 VCA Production of ‘Mad Forest - A Play From Romania’ - Written by Caryl Churchill, Directed by Sean Mee, Set Design by Chantal Marks. To fit the budget of this university production, the finer text for these exhibition panels were printed by Classic Colour Copying on one plywood sheet and then cut up and assembled at the university. Great outcome for assembling the information about the Romanian revolution. Bust out your technical drawing books, because today we are printing on a curved surface! 📚 First, you have to “unroll” the cup into a 2D surface, then you have to curve your lettering by various degrees to suit the name length, then you computer cut and then hand apply it straight!
