Card stocks we use for swing tags

  • 300gsm Sovereign Offset Uncoated
  • 350gsm Satin
  • 400gsm Satin
  • 350gsm EcoStar Uncoated
  • 350gsm Coated Stock
  • 300gsm Black Uncoated Card

All stocks are FSC Certified from sustainable sources. The Ecostar is a super environmentally responsible paper made carbon neutral and the fibre source is FSC Recycled certified. Ecostar is manufactured from 100% post consumer recycled paper in a process chlorine free environment under the ISO 14001 environmental management system.

Types of Paper Finish Uncoated

Uncoated paper does not have a coating to fill in between the fibers. It is generally rougher than coated paper and tends to be more porous, which makes it very absorbent.

Satin

Satin stocks have a subtle shine. They then have a very fine fibre which leads to a very smooth look.

Coated stock

This paper has a coating applied to it, with the most common coated options being glossy. The coating on the paper creates a less porous surface which means the ink or toner stays on top of the paper offering a smoother and brighter finish.

Special Inks and Embellishment Processes

We can easily add special inks and embellishments to your swing tag to give a luxurious look and feel. The most common inks we use are:

Raised special inks

These can be raised clear, gold, silver, copper, rose gold, blue, red, green & holographic.

White inks

We can print your design with white ink, usually on a black 300gsm card.

Gold and silver metallic inks

We can print in both gold and silver metallic inks for a unique looking item.

Post Printing Processes Laminates

We can easily add a glossy or matt laminate to your swing tag. This adds thickness, durability, feel and look to the tag.

Hole drill

We can drill a 6mm or 3mm hole to your tag in almost any position.

Rounded corners

We can round the corners of your tag, for a rounded and softer appearance.

Benefits of Swing Tags

Why use custom swing tags in your business?

Brand identity

Swing tags primarily let the consumer know who made the item, and they can easily associate your brand with the item. The finish, look, feel and nature of the tag all represents your unique brand identity.

Classic Colour Copying has a range of ways to achieve this such as stock, weight, feel, colour and finish.

Sustainability

Swing tags are a highly ethical and eco-friendly option as they can be easily recycled and reused. Many customers even hang them on the wall as decorations! A nicely made swing tag is more than just a piece of paper – it could be a piece of art and a marketing tool which reminds customers of your brand and company.

Accessible information

Like our business cards, swing tags are small but can carry and communicate a huge load of information. They can also be printed on both sides, you could choose to display branding information on the front and more technical product details (materials, size, etc.) on the back if needed.
